Summery: Shana is Dart's closest friend since childhood. Ever since Dart left her to pursue the Black monster when she was thirteen, she has been waiting eagery for five years for his return.  Her heart is as pure as snowwater.  She stands in battle bravely with her bow and arrow fighting along side Dart.  She has deep feelings about Dart, but as simple minded as Dart is, he doesn't seem to realize it.

Many powerful men want her imprisoned for unknown reasons.  Dart tries to keep her out of danger as much as possible.  She follows Dart and his friends on their journey, but get mostly in the way rather than much help.  She obtained her Dragoon Spirit of healing when she was poisioned while fighting the Jade Dragon.  Dart was able to obtain the light dragon Spirit when he passed the test at the Shirley temple.  The reasons how Shana was able to be accepted as the user of the dragon spirit remains unknown.
